Abstract
El presente trabajo de investigación, de carácter cualitativa, tiene como objetivo conocer las vivencias y percepciones de estudiantes chilenes que cursan educación media en relación con la educación sexual que han recibido en sus respectivos establecimientos educacionales de tipo mixto o monogenérico (femenino o masculino). Mediante la aplicación de un cuestionario, se recogieron datos de 11 estudiantes de escuelas monogenéricas masculinas y mixtas. La importancia de atender a las necesidades reales de la juventud chilena mediante un plan efectivo de educación sexual se evidencia de manera explícita en lo expresado por les estudiantes participantes.
Abstract This qualitative research aims to understand the experiences and perceptions of Chilean high school students regarding the sexual education they have received in their respective educational institutions, whether single-sex (female or male) or co-educational. Data was collected from 11 students from all-boy’s and co-ed schools through the application of a questionnaire. The importance of addressing the real needs of Chilean youth through an effective sexual education plan is explicitly evidenced by the statements of the participating students.
